Последната новост в Медицинския център към Балнеокомплекс „Медика Наречен“, от която пациентите могат да се възползват, е приложна кинезиология - метод на алтернативната медицина, който служи за диагностика и лечение. „Основава се на разбирането, че основните мускули на човешкото тяло са свързани с определени органи, кости, гръбначни прешлени, меридиани и когато те страдат, това се отразява на тонуса на мускулите. „Тестването на мускулния тонус се прави чрез мануални техники“ – обяснява главният рехабилитатор на центъра Симеон Костов. Приложната кинезиология установява не само промените в мускулния тонус, но и причината за това. Така рехабилитаторът има възможност да приложи най-подходящата терапия. Според Костов приложната кинезиология е възможност за откриване на дегенеративните процеси в самото им начало, когато дори няма изявени симптоми, за да се избегнат патологичните изменения или да се забави тяхната поява. Методът е подходящ за възстановяване баланса на стойката и правилната походка.
Приложната кинезиология разглежда човешкото здраве като триъгълник, като всяка от страните му съответства на структурата, биохимията и психологията на човека. Ако трите страни на триъгълника са равни, то човек е в хармония и отлично здраве. Както знаем емоциите ни се отразяват на физическото ни състояние, според китайската медицина те влияят върху здравето на конкретни органи. Приложната кинезиология може да открие този проблем и да помогне на човек да се освободи от негативните емоции, преди да се развие заболяване.
В Медицинския център на „Медика Наречен“ се практикува и биометричната склеротомна стабилизация (биометрична кинезиология), която е направление на приложната кинезиология. При биометричната кинезиология се въздейства върху склеротомната тъкан (надкостница, хрущяли, сухожилия), при което се активират соматичната и вегетативна нервни системи, пояснява рехабилитаторът Симеон Костов. Така се отстраняват нарушенията в сензомоторния контрол на централната нервна система. Диагностичният процес позволява откриване на първичните причини, които провокират появата на функционални нарушения.
